Collapse all | Expand allAl Rouse is a leading executive with over 30 years of expanding leadership and management expertise. In addition to extensive leadership and Federal Financial Management experience gained while in uniform, he has served in a wide range of roles in private business since military retirement.
Experienced in a broad range of Government and commercial client sets and functional domains, Al possesses a wealth of Business Development and corporate development skills targeted towards sustained growth and delivery excellence.
Following a 21-year career as a Navy Surface Warfare Officer including assignments with the Bureau of Naval Personnel and the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Al started his business career as Vice President for Navy Programs with Strategic Business Solutions, Inc.
He subsequently joined Resource Consultants, Inc. (RCI), where he rose through the management ranks and became Senior Vice President of Professional Services. In this capacity, he was responsible for over $100M in government and commercial business after RCI’s acquisition by Serco, a large international government services provider based in the UK.
In his last position, Al served as Vice President for Defense Programs with Advanced Technology Systems Corporation (ATSC).
A native of Jacksonville, NC, Al holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.S. in Financial Management from the Naval Postgraduate School.
John Brundage has over 30 years of documented success in high pressure, diversified Department of Defense management positions. Prior to forming Rouse Consulting with Al Rouse in 2010, John worked for Serco where he built a 35 member team responsible for training development and delivery for the National Security Personnel System (NSPS) as well as turnkey implementation services for various Department of Defense Agencies and Components. In this capacity, Mr. Brundage was responsible for over $20 million in training.
Mr. Brundage served as the Deputy Program Manager for the AcqDemo Program Office with responsibilities for all training development as well as recruitment and guidance of new organizations joining the program. During Mr. Brundage’s tenure, AcqDemo grew from approximately 3,000 participants to over 9,000. 16,000 more were waiting to enter when the DoD transitioned into NSPS.
Mr. Brundage has held various positions within the Corps of Engineers to include Resident Engineer, Area Engineer, Chief of Quality Assurance for the South Atlantic District, Chief of Technical Support for Japan Engineer District, and Program Manager for the Chem Demil program in Moscow, Russia.
Mr. Brundage became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2009 and is currently responsible for 20 separate projects ($350 million total) in California and Nevada. Mr. Brundage has a 100% certification rate for all completed projects.
Mr. Brundage is an Electrical Engineer with a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Tom Stajmiger has over twenty years experience in the business analysis, project management, training, and computer systems development fields, specializing in project management, business process analysis and end-user training.
Tom began work in the training field in 1992 first as a trainer, and later as a Project Manager, for WORDPRO in Rockville, MD. He managed a variety of accounts managing within the government and private industry sectors, focusing on seeking growth opportunities in smaller accounts.
Tom followed that work as a training manager for Vanstar, managing accounts and training staff throughout the United States. It was there that Tom first created a business function analysis tool to ascertain an organization’s business functions as performed by employee job classification, and then develop customized education plans which “blueprint” an organization’s optimal education goals and objectives.
Tom continued his business analysis role at Northwestern Mutual Life. While there he led the development of a case management system to track the contracting and licensing of NML agents, as well as the automation of many paper-based processes.
He subsequently joined SI International as the first project manager for training delivery on the Department of Defense’s National Security Personnel System (NSPS) rollout. He also provided similar management services for this work for several other company’s including SERCO and ATSC.
A native of Milwaukee, WI, Tom studied computer science at the University of Wisconsin.
Scott Hanger is a multimedia and web development professional with over 13 years of commercial and government contracting experience.
Scott comes to Rouse from NASA headquarters where he oversaw the production of multimedia content for NASA.gov. Responsibilities included management of the multimedia team, the creation of interactive media, web development, video, animation, mobile applications, DVD authoring and graphic design. Scott helped in the redesign of NASA.gov, built NASA’s official YouTube and Twitter pages and conceptualized and developed the federal government’s first Facebook application.
Scott has been the recipient of numerous awards including five Adobe Site of the Day awards, an Adobe Max award, a 2009 Webby Honoree, a nomination for the White House’s National Design Award and contributed to NASA.gov receiving five Webby awards over his last four years at the agency.

Scott graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Multimedia.
